We have been providing portable computing solutions almost since the advent of the laptop computer. Over that time there has been a huge advancement in the technology involved but the fundamental requirements and principles still apply.

Business Laptops primarily have 15.6” screens and are aimed more for use at a desktop or at home. Average weight is 2Kg – 3Kg but have full size keyboard with number pad and DVD drives. 14” Laptops are now appearing trying to bridge the two but specification can vary considerably.

All Laptops, Notebooks and Ultrabooks tend to use mobile dual core processors rather than the quad core desktop version and are rarely purchased as a direct replacement for a Desktop computer.
